As 2019 begins, my painting, “Absolute: Position” will be traveling to Minnesota to be in the 24th Arts in Harmony 2019 Annual International Show. After showing at the Hopkins Center for the Arts in Hopkins, MN. Some accepted work will travel to 2 other exhibitions, including one hosted by the American Swedish Institute at the historic Turnblad museum & mansion in Minneapolis. Rounding out the trip will be a final stop at Maple Grove Arts Center, Maple Grove, MN. After finishing out the year on display at the Czong Institute for Contemporary Art Museum in South Korea, my painting Absolute: Earnest has come home. The exhibition called Artist Statement has been published in an art-book that showcases a side-by-side documentation of the artwork and the artist’s statement. The concept behind the exhibit and the art-book is to show the connections between an artist’s work and their written philosophies. Read more below.

It is my extreme pleasure to announce that Absolute: Earnest has been accepted for exhibition at the Czong Institute for Contemporary Art Museum in South Korea. During the months of October & November, my work will be included among other international artists in Artist Statement, an exhibition that triumphs the connections between an artist’s work and their written philosophies. ‘Art For Life’ Exhibit Walkthrough At Pizzuti Collection

Pizzuti Collection 2If you are familiar with the Pizzuti Collection in any way, you’ll know that they are a powerhouse in the world of contemporary art collections. Situated in the Short North Arts District next to the Goodale Park, the Pizzuti Collection museum houses a rotating collection of privately owned works of art from around the globe. This year they’ve partnered up  with the great people at Equitas Health for the biennial Art For Life benefit. Together they will present the 2016 Art for Life event and fund ventures that will support both AIDS research and youth arts education. I’ve taken part in this cause in the past, but I’m especially excited for this newly struck partnership and the added benefits it provides.
